When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, email address, display name, and profile photo via Firebase Authentication. We do not receive or store your Google password.
Task Data
We collect and store the checklists, tasks, and related content you create within Taskbit. This data is encrypted and stored securely to ensure your privacy.
Usage Information
We collect information about how you interact with our services, including features used, time spent, and general usage patterns to improve our product.
How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain our services
- Process your transactions and manage your account
- Send you updates, security alerts, and support messages
- Improve our AI features and overall user experience
- Protect against fraud and abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
AI and Data Processing
When you use AI features, we send prompts and relevant list context to Google Gemini. We do not use your private content to train public foundation models. Optional AI memory, behavioral learning, and collective intelligence are controlled in Settings → AI & Memory.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With users you explicitly invite to collaborate
- With service providers: Google (Auth, Cloud/Firestore), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Google Gemini (AI)
- When required by law or to protect our rights

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and at rest, secure authentication, and regular security audits. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
